Position: Long Haul Truck Driver

Salary: $34.75 hourly for 50 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Experience: An asset but not mandatory.
• Language: English proficiency.
• License: Valid Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive trucks (straight or articulated) to transport materials.
• Inspect and oversee the condition of the vehicle and its equipment (tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo details, fuel consumption, hours of service, and distance traveled.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo, including tarping if necessary.
• Relay information to central dispatch.
