Position: Mechanical Technician (SeaRose Maintenance Team)
Location: Offshore Grand Banks, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent (12-hour shifts on a 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation)

Role Overview:
Maintain offshore equipment to ensure safe, productive, and cost-effective operations. Diagnose and resolve system faults, prevent downtime, and follow the 21-day work plan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to improve equipment performance.
- Monitor safe work systems and maintain compliance with procedures.
- Participate in emergency response roles (e.g., Helicopter Operation Team, Lifeboat Coxswain).
- Complete required training per Cenovus standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- First/Second Class Motor Certificate of Competency (Tanker 2 Endorsement) or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certificate.
- Experience in planned maintenance and offshore environments (FPSO preferred).
- Ability to travel offshore, pass fitness assessments, and maintain training for offshore travel.

- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring medical clearance, drug/alcohol screening, and compliance with offshore training standards.
- Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador and Canada will receive priority consideration.
